Hyderabad: Disney and Pixar’s upcoming animated film Elements will close at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival in 2023 on May 27. English voice actors Leah Lewis (Ember) and Mamoudou Athie (Wade) are joined by filmmakers Peter Thorne (Director), Dennis Liam (Producer) and Pete Docter (Pixar’s EP and CCO) , along with members of French voice actors Adèle Exarchopoulos (Ember) and Vincent Lacoste (Wade) on the beach.
The film will be released in the US on June 16. New clips are also available to watch and share.
“Elemental” is an all-new original feature film set in Element City, where Fire, Water, Earth and Air inhabitants live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted, and fiery young woman whose friendship with a fun, vivacious, go-with-the-move guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
The screenplay for this animated film was written by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh, and the story was written by Sohn, Hoberg & Likkel and Hsueh. The film’s original score was composed and conducted by Thomas Newman.
