New Delhi: Actor Alia Bhatt is unstoppable. Especially in this year’s work, she’s been giving fans multiple reasons to be proud.
If you’re an Alia Bhatt admirer, the latest news about the actor is sure to get your heart racing. The 30-year-old was recently named the first Indian global ambassador for Italian high-end luxury brand Gucci, and now he’s filming a special video for the brand alongside several activists and artists from around the world.
On Twitter, Alia posted a video of her speaking out for gender equality alongside Julia Roberts, Salma Hayek, Idris Elba, Serena Williams, Halle Bailey, John Legend, Julia Garner and Daisy Edgar-Jones.

In the clips, the actors talk about freedom, education, strength, opportunity and dignity. “Excited to be part of the Gucci Chime 10th Anniversary campaign! #GucciChimeForGenderEquality #ChimeIn @gucci,” Alia wrote in the post. Arya’s debut alongside internationally renowned stars has garnered critical acclaim from fans. “Wow… Alia going global,” one social media user commented. “Super proud,” wrote another.
Alia also made her Met Gala debut in May. The “Raazi” star hit the iconic red carpet in a dreamy white gown by fashion designer Prabal Gurung. This year’s theme is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” based on a new Costume Institute exhibition exploring the iconic designer’s work. Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 at the age of 85, spent decades designing clothes for Balmain, Patou, Chloe, Fendi and Chanel, in addition to his own namesake label.
Alia teamed the gown with embellished gloves, matching diamond earrings and a ring. For glam, she opted for a center parted half ponytail, high heels, a touch of smoky eyeshadow, eyeshadow liner, nude lip color and a dewy base.
Now in August, Alia will appear in her first Hollywood film, Hearts of Stone, in which she will share screen space with Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot.
