karimnagar: B.C. Minister of Welfare and Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar pledges to develop Karimnagar into a role model for the country through holistic development of the region.
Informed that the area will benefit more from the Kaleshwaram water pumping irrigation project, he said that the planted area in the area has increased significantly. The minister participated in the Telangana State Inception Day celebrations at the Police Parade on Friday.
Speaking at the meeting, Kamalaka said that besides the entire district, the town of Karimnagar will also be fully developed and said that efforts are being made to develop the town into a neat and green city.
After Hyderabad, Karimnagar is the largest city in the state. Therefore, they are working hard to develop all the facilities for future generations. Once the rope bridge and Manair River Front projects are complete, the town will become a famous tourist destination and gain world-class recognition.
He informed that the work on the cable bridge has been completed and said that it was decided to open the bridge on June 17.
Earlier, the town had often suffered from damaged roads due to the neglect of the city by the previous government. However, after the formation of a separate state, the situation changed as the state government prioritized the development of Karimnagar.
The face of the town has changed with the initiatives of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
The celebration was attended by ZP Chairman Kanumalla Vijaya, MLAs Rasamai Balakishan and Sunke Ravishankar, Mayor Y Sunil Rao, Collector RV Karnan, Police Commissioner L Subbarayudu and others.
