Hyderabad: Hyderabad tennis player Shanvitha Reddy Nukala and her German partner Michelle Khomich won the women’s doubles title at the World Tennis Tour ITF Junior Tour (J30) Under-18 Tennis Championship in Kampala, Uganda on Friday.
The Indian-German duo bounced back from a set deficit to beat Russia’s Leila Akhmetova and India’s Sia Mahajan 3-6, 6-4, 10-4.
Shana Martin Mao of Tanzania and Sisu-Makena Tomega of Ghana 6-2, 6-3 earlier in the semi-finals saw Jeanwisa and Homic advance to the final. finals.
