In a tragic incident, Shailesh Gurrapu, a 23-year-old student from Nizamabad, died in a car accident on Saturday.

Nizamabad: Shailesh Gurrapu, a 23-year-old Nizamabad student studying at the University of Bridgeport in New Jersey, was killed in a car accident on Saturday. The vehicle in which Shailesh was traveling hit a utility pole and caught fire during the incident. There were also reports that it collided with another vehicle, which also caught fire.
Despite immediate rescue efforts, Shailesh was reportedly badly burned and died at the scene.
Shailesh, from the village of Bada Bheemgal in the district, leaves behind her distraught parents and two younger sisters. Shailesh’s family and friends are seeking support from the authorities to return his remains to Nizamabad, while his friends in the US have launched a GoFundMe campaign to support the family.
