karimnagar: Suraksha Dinotsavam celebrated with great celebration in the former Karimnagar district on Sunday. As part of the 21-day Telangana Formation Day celebrations, the police station conducted Suraksha Dinotsavam.
District headquarters in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jagtial and Rajanna-Sircilla organized rallies of vehicles and all troops in a significant manner to mark the festivities.
Ministers, MLAs, other public representatives and police officials participated in the events in their respective districts.
BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar painted the flag at the Karimnagar Police Station, while Welfare Minister Koppula Eashwar opened the rally in Jagtial. Zilla Parishad Chairman Putta Madhu and Nayala Konda Aruna attended the event in Peddapalli and Sircilla respectively.
Later, during a celebration at the police parade, Kamalakal said people were able to lead peaceful lives because the police were working around the clock and away from their families.
Extremist activities used to occur frequently in the Karimnagar area, but thanks to the efforts of the police, it has returned to normal. In addition, with the efforts of the police, some extremists have also joined the mainstream society.
Recognizing that the Telangana Police have been at the forefront of maintaining law and order and delivering social services, Kamalaka extended his best wishes to the police personnel.
