Hyderabad: Madhuranagar police arrested 14 people for organizing cockfights and betting in a raid on Sunday.
Police arrested 14 people and seized 90 blades and several roosters from them.
Acting on the tip, the police raided a vacant lot in Yadagirinagar, within the boundaries of the Madhuranagar police station, and found the men were attaching blades to the feet of the roosters and engaging them.
All of them wagered on the game, police said. A case has been registered.
