Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday laid the foundation stone for the Bharat Bhavan Center of Excellence and Human Resource Development, which is being established using state-of-the-art technology. He held the groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of the 15-storey building on 11 acres in Kokapet, Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister participated in Chandihomam and performed Purnahuti on the occasion. He also planted a sapling as a memorial.
BRS Secretary-General and Parliamentary Party Leader K Keshava Rao, Ministers P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Mohd Mahmood Ali, Ch Malla Reddy, Lok Sabha Floor Leader Nama Nageswara Rao, Congressman KR Suresh Reddy, D Damodar Rao, J Santosh Kumar , G Ranjith Reddy, V Ravichandra, Pasunuri Dayakar, MLC, MLA and other leaders of the party attended the ceremony.
BRS already has the party’s national office in Delhi and state offices in several other states, and unlike any other political party, it has embarked on building a state-of-the-art research and training facility in Hyderabad. A “Bharat Bhavan Center of Excellence and Human Resource Development” will be established as a center for conducting political awareness programmes, training sessions and providing comprehensive information to workers and leaders. Initial plans are for a 15-storey building.
The center will serve as a comprehensive training facility for party workers, providing them with information from across the country. It will have spacious conference halls, a state-of-the-art digital library, multilingual newspapers, news collation services and provide important information for party leaders. In addition, it will serve as a platform for collecting state-level and sector-level data. The establishment of classrooms and conference halls will facilitate the training of party members and staff from all over the country.
The center will provide necessary accommodation for students. Experienced professionals who have worked in nationally renowned organizations will be appointed to conduct the training and research programme. Retired officials, legal experts, and individuals knowledgeable in the political field will serve as coordinators, trainers, and subject matter experts.
