Hyderabad: Candidates taking the Group-I preliminary test have been instructed to wear only chappals and not shoes to the test centre. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) will conduct the exam on June 11 from 10.30 am to 1 pm at 994 test centers across the state.
Category I job seekers will be admitted to the center from 8.30am and any candidates will be admitted after the venue doors close at 10.15am. A total of 3,80,081 candidates who signed up for the recruitment test were told to go to the center one day in advance to find out the location and arrive at the center as early as possible on the day of the test.
Apart from hall tickets, candidates must also carry a valid original government-issued photo ID, i.e. Passport, Pan Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Government Employee ID or Driving License etc.
Candidates are prohibited from bringing math forms, logbooks, pagers, mobile phones, wallets and handbags into the examination room. “Possession of prohibited items will result in disqualification from the exam,” TSPSC said.
The committee made it clear to aspirants that the use of brighteners, chalk powder, razor blades or erasers on OMR papers will render the OMR papers invalid.
The council has notified 503 first-level posts, including 121 Mandal Parishad development officers, 91 deputy commissioners of police, 48 business tax officers, 42 deputy tax officers, 41 municipal commissioners II and 40 assistant auditors.
This is the first recruitment notice for Category I services issued after the formation of Telangana. The TSPSC conducted its Group-I preliminary test on October 16, which had to be canceled after the leaked test papers.
