Minister Gangura Kamalakal had a lucky escape after his boat tipped into the water in Karimnagar

Video of the minister falling into the water went viral on various social media platforms on Friday.

Karim Nagar: B.C. Minister of Welfare and Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar had a lucky escape after the country boat he was in tipped over in a body of water in the village. Alert security personnel immediately grabbed him and took him to safety ashore.

The minister attended Cheruvula Panduga at the Telangana Formation Day celebrations at Asifnagar, Kothapalli mandal, on Thursday.

While taking part in the festivities, Kamalkar attempted to tour the village trough in a state-built boat. However, the boat tipped to one side. Alert security personnel managed to contact him and bring him ashore.

A few years ago, Kamalakar fell into the water after launching a speedboat service at the Lower Manair Dam on the outskirts of Karimnagar town.
