Hyderabad: To increase the revenue of the logistics arm of the state-run Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), the company has partnered with other logistics companies and government departments such as the Indian Railways and Posts Department to expand its operations across India. country and provide seamless services to citizens.
Currently, the company delivers 15,000 to 18,000 parcels through its logistics service, earning around Rs 2.5 lakh per day. It plans to increase the number of parcels shipped and increase the revenue generated to around Rs 1 crore per day.
The RTC has made the necessary arrangements in this regard, and is working with a number of major companies and government departments to deliver seamless and timely packages to anywhere in the country. The list also includes Indian Railways and Indian Post Department.

It is reported that the company will sign agreements with some multinational companies and logistics companies.
“RTC has a good network across the state. The organization handles shipments in these areas with ease. In areas outside the state where there is no network, it was decided to take orders and delegate the shipment of packages to other companies and government agencies,” a senior TSRTC senior officials said.
So, with the help of other companies, it decided to grow the business to make daily income of Rs 1 crore and above. As part of this, it can be recalled that TSRTC has changed the name of Cargo and Parcel Service to TSRTC Logistics.
On the other hand, it also focuses on work that is delivered directly from the actual production area.
The TSRTC authorities have also made some changes to their strategy of logistics sector and sector transfer in order to provide better and efficient services to citizens.
