Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming feature ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, has spoken about her marriage plans.
Kangana said, “Everything has a time, and if that time has to come in my life, then it will come. I do want to get married and have my own family…but, at the right time it will happen.” Directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav and starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, it will air on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on June 23.
Recently, the film studio released the official trailer, which received a good response from the audience.
The trailer shows the ups and downs in the lives of an unusual couple – a junior artist and an aspiring actor, as they embark on a wild journey as they work together to realize their ambitions in the city of their dreams, Mumbai.
Nawazuddin earlier shared his reasons for saying “yes” to the film, saying, “Tiku Weds Sheru is a comedy that weaves elements of real life struggles that people go through through a unique love story. Tiku and Sheru, very different personalities with a shared dream. What excites me about Sheru is that while he anthropomorphizes the challenges faced by individuals who aspire to succeed in the entertainment industry, he is gracious and has his own set of quirks , and stood out as a likable character.”
Meanwhile, speaking of Kangana’s work on the front lines, she will next appear in the upcoming historical film “Emergency”, in which she will play the role of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
“Emergency” is her first solo directorial film. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair and Shreyas Talpade in prominent roles.
In addition, she will also star in “Chandramukhi 2”. Directed by P Vasu, the film is the sequel to the blockbuster Tamil horror comedy ‘Chandramukhi’ starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika.
In “Chandramukhi 2”, Kangana Ranaut will play the role of a court dancer, known for her beauty and dancing skills.
