Chittoor police set up a green lane from Chennai to tirupathi for a heart transplant of a 12-year-old child from Kadapa district.

Tirupati: On Saturday, Chittoor police set up a green channel for a 12-year-old child’s heart transplant, which was initiated at Padmavati Children’s Hrudayalaya Hospital.
The heart was brought to Tirupati by road from Chennai by a special ambulance. It took an hour and fifty minutes. Twelve-year-old Yagna Shree from Kadapa District underwent a heart transplant.
Also, a young man named Nagaraju (29 years old) was declared “brain dead” by doctors at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital and was transferred to Tirupathi through the green channel.
On June 2, Hyderabad Police, in coordination with Cyberabad Traffic Police, arranged a green lane to facilitate the transport of living organs (lungs) by providing uninterrupted movement for ambulances transporting the lungs.
