Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board Trust has announced that it will soon publish a white paper on the Srivani Trust and will take stern action against false allegations against the Srivani Trust. TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy said on Monday that the Temple Trust will publish a white paper on the Srivani Trust which will show all transactions under the trust in a transparent manner. Moreover, he said, political leaders have been making these allegations against TTD for their own political gain.
He added that the trust was established in 2019 with the honorable aim of building Lord Venkateswara temples across the country as part of TTD’s initiative to promote Sanatana Dharma.
TTD received donations from trusts in Telugu, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karnataka to build 2,445 temples, many in South Carolina, ST and Fisherman’s Colony. It also provides financial grants to smaller temples for daily rituals and assists in the renovation of older temples.
He went on to explain that as part of Srivani, TTD is offering darshans daily to 1,000 devotees, 500 of whom buy tickets online and another 500 at JEO offices in Tirumala. A receipt will be issued immediately after the devotee pays Rs. 10,500 of which Rs. 10,000 is a contribution to trust and Rs. 500 is a darshan ticket. For Srivani, TTD has set up a unique account. He asks everyone to check the account if they have any doubts about it.
