karimnagar: The NGO Sadisha Foundation has selected 61 students to provide free secondary education including dormitory facilities in private tertiary institutions.
Sadisha passed the math test to select X-grade students studying in public schools in different districts and some districts in neighboring states like Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
This year, 51 students from Karimnagar-27, Warangal-7, Khammam-9, Suryapet-9, Guntur-4 and Nanded-5 were selected. Twenty-seven students from the former Karimnagar area joined the Sri Caitanya Junior College on Saturday. Sadisha started operations in 2012 and has provided free secondary education to 150 students so far.
