Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia tweeted the same, saying the government had fulfilled its promise to bring charges against Singh.

“In this case, wrestlers will continue to fight until justice is served, but the fight will be in court, not on the road,” the statement on Twitter read.

“Regarding WFI reform, the electoral process has started as promised. We will wait for the government to fulfill its commitments regarding the July 11th elections.” Will be taking a break from social media for a few days.

In a live address on social media on Saturday, the trio of Vinesh, Sakhi and Bajirang attacked former wrestler and current BJP leader Yogeshwar Dutt for his Challenged the IOC ad hoc panel’s decision to exempt them from the Asian Games trials.

During the nearly 40-minute speech, the wrestlers said their fight with Singer would continue and they would consider how to proceed after evaluating the allegations against Singer.
“People are asking why we are silent. The time (to suspend the protests) is until June 15. The fight will continue, on and off the field, but the fight for justice will continue,” Vinesh said. “Until Brij Bhushan is not in jail and he does not pay for his sins, it will continue. We are waiting for a copy of the charge sheet. We will assess whether it is strong enough to achieve justice. Whether we sit on the road or risk our lives, we will make a decision. That is why we remain silent. Our battle is not over,” she said.

Vinesh also claimed that Dutt targeted them out of self-interest.

“You (Dutt) terrified the wrestlers, that’s why they didn’t take part in the second protest (from April 23). You put pressure on them to lose their jobs. People told us they and us together but they have OCD so they can’t come,” Vinesh.

“I’ll tell you why you’re doing it. Brij Bhushan may invite you to be WFI president, that’s why you’re on his side.” Wrestlers set to protest after being ejected from Jantar Mantar on May 28 The event was suspended until June 15 as Sports Minister Anurag Thakur assured that charges would be filed against Singh by then and that no member of his family would be allowed to contest the WFI election.
