Nagaoka: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao urged public support for the BRS party’s return to power in the state, stressing that the state has become a role model for India’s development under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
On Wednesday, he took part in various groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies at the Kodakandla Mandal Center in the district’s Palakurti constituency. During the event, Rao also paid tribute by laying flowers at the portrait of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on his birthday.
Speaking at the meeting, Rao highlighted the progress made in Kodacandela, which has previously faced severe drought. He pointed out that farmers and laborers who migrated to other areas during Simandra’s rule are now returning after witnessing the development of the area. Rao further announced that Minister KT Rama Rao will soon lay the foundation stone for the Kodakandla Mini Textile Park, which aims to create employment opportunities for practitioners in the textile industry. He reminded that he had launched a tailor-made training program for women in the Palakurthi constituency.
The Minister then presented Gram Panchayat with a body freezer in memory of Shivratri Iddaiah. ZP Chairman Pagala Sampath Reddy, District Tax Collector Shivalingaiah, Deputy Tax Collector Rohit Singh, etc. attended the event.
