Jagulamba Gadwal: The state government’s Mana Ooru Mana Badi and Mana Basti Mana Badi schemes, which have strengthened schools through infrastructure development, are yielding good results.

Public schools fill up quickly. Gadwar Girls High School is full and a waiting list has been created. This shows the growing popularity of public schools. Public boys’ high schools are also expected to fill up quickly. Both schools also exceeded expectations for admissions last year.

Last year, Ghadhwar Girls’ High School had a total of 982 students who were taught in Telugu and English. This year, the number of students grew to 1,057. There are 20 teachers and 13 classrooms for student accommodation.

Enrollment for eighth, ninth and tenth grades is currently full. There are 92 students in the eighth grade Telugu intermediate class, 105 students in the eighth grade English intermediate class, 94 students in the ninth grade Telugu intermediate class, 79 students in the ninth grade English intermediate class, and 10th grade Telugu intermediate class. There are 158 students in the middle class of Guyu, and 68 students in the middle class of English in the tenth grade.

Due to the shortage of places, the school has asked the candidates’ parents to cooperate, and posted a “No Enrollment” sign at the school gate.

The fact that the area’s girls’ high school set up a committee stating that there were no enrollments for days after the start of the school year points to the high demand for state schools.

“Within 11 days after our school started enrolling students, the seats in classes 8, 9, and 10 were already full. We have admitted students beyond the grade. Professional teachers and excellent facilities make our school a popular choice for students.” Woman High school principal Rajanandam said.
