New Delhi: The central government has called an all-party meeting on July 19, followed by parliament’s monsoon session on July 20.
The monsoon session of Parliament is expected to last until August 11.
“The 2023 monsoon session of Parliament will start on July 20 and run until August 11.
All parties are urged to contribute to productive discussions on legislative matters and other items during the monsoon session,” Union Minister Prahad Joshi had earlier tweeted.
He said that this session has a total of 17 meetings and lasts for 23 days.
“I call on all parties to contribute constructively to the legislative and other business of Parliament during the session,” the union minister said.
Union State Minister Meenakshi Lekhi said on Monday that the monsoon session of Parliament will be held in the old building.
The opposition is also preparing to take on the government on a range of issues.
