India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday forecast heavy rainfall for 2-3 days in Delhi

New Delhi: Derry Fire Service officials said as many as 15 houses collapsed in the city on Saturday due to heavy rain, killing one person.
Earlier, a 58-year-old Ranjit Kaur woman from Karol Baghtibia College Association died when a wall collapsed on her body due to heavy rain.
Meanwhile, about 15 limousines and 10 to 12 motorcycles and scooters were damaged when the rear side wall of Deshbandhu College in the Kalkaji area of Delhi collapsed due to heavy rainfall.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday forecast heavy rainfall for 2 to 3 days in Delhi.
“This week, there will be rain in northwestern India, including Delhi, and the intensity of the rain will last for 2-3 days, and then the intensity will weaken. During this period, the hot weather will ease.” Chief Charan Singh said.
IMD predicts that “from 8th to 10th, there will be heavy rainfall to very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Johnson & Johnson; during July 8th to 9th, East Rajasthan, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi , Punjab.”
