Hyderabad: On Monday night, many Instagram users complained about not being able to access their accounts, some faced login issues, and some even complained about losing their followers.
Many users tweeted their anger at the outage, especially if their accounts were suspended or disabled. #instagramdown is trending on Twitter, which has also led to a meme feast.
According to Downdetector, there were more than 2,000 Instagram outages Monday night.
Instagram acknowledged the outage, tweeting: “We know some of you are having trouble accessing your Instagram account. We are investigating the matter and apologize for the inconvenience. #instagramdown”
This comes nearly two hours after Meta-owned Whatsapp shut down globally on October 25.
