Hyderabad: A student who was pursuing a medical course committed suicide at his home in Madhurnagar, the city, on Wednesday night.
The man, Jidi Jagadeesh (21 years old), remains in Jawaharnagar and is studying BAMS at a university in Ameerper.
On Wednesday night, he went into his room and allegedly hung himself with a rope from a ceiling fan.
“On Wednesday, Jagadish got into an argument with someone on the phone and later appeared to be frustrated with the developments. He may have taken his own life because of it,” Maduranagar police said.
After receiving the news, the Maduranagar police rushed to the scene and transferred the body to the mortuary. A case has been filed.
