SP receives complaints from the public in person and asks their questions over the phone. He said that the scheme was launched for the first time in Kothagudem district and the response was good.
He informed that the program, which began for an hour on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., had received 19 complaints from across the district. An order has been issued to the police concerned to take immediate action to resolve the complainant’s concerns.
People who were unable to contact the Chief of Police during the program were asked to meet him at the SP office and file their complaints. The “Call Your SP” program will run on the 1st of every month from now on. Dr Vineeth said.
