Mumbai: The makers of “Project K” have revealed Bollywood star Deepika Padukone’s first look for the highly anticipated flick, describing her character as a hope for a better tomorrow.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, this big-budget sci-fi film stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, among others .
Vyjayanthi Movies, the banner behind “Project K,” shared the poster on its official Twitter page on Monday night.
“Lights of hope for a better tomorrow. This is @DeepikaPadukone for #ProjectK,” the production company captioned Deepika’s first look.
In a new post shared Tuesday, the banner described the actor’s character as someone whose eyes “carry the hope of a new world.”
Hassan, Prabhas, Deepika and Ashwin will unveil the film’s official title, trailer and release date on the first day of San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC).
At Comic-Con, scheduled to run from July 20-23, Vyjayanthi Movies will host talks and performances that will give audiences a glimpse into “India’s vibrant culture and stunning sci-fi world”.
According to a press release issued by the producer, “Project K” will be the first Indian film to premiere at SDCC.
Disha Patani also complements the multilingual film’s cast.
