Hyderabad: BRS leader Dasoju Sravan has written an open letter to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) calling for the removal of TPCC Chairman A Revanth Reddy for his criticism of the transgender community , backward classes, peasants and other poor sections of India with “brazen” and “derogatory” language. Communities, including Yadava, Gouda, Dommara, Vamsharajulu and Munnuru Kapu communities.
He demanded that Ravens Reddy be expelled from society and disqualified from parliament for insulting innocent people. He asked whether Congressional leadership had given Ravens Reddy any special permission to make such statements that would insult, humiliate and cause emotional distress to members of different sectors of society.
In his letter, Slavan pointed out that Ravens Reddy has a history of making derogatory remarks about these communities, and that his recent remarks in the United States that a poor farmer with three acres of land needs only three hours of electricity are ” stupid”. ’ and ‘humiliating’.
Slavan also accused Ravens Reddy of using his followers to intimidate and threaten other leaders and businessmen. He said Ravens Reddy was a “mental patient”, “full of lies and contradictions”, and that he was a “disgrace to Telangana politics”. To cover up his failure, Ravens Reddy started fabricating false stories to slander the Telangana government and misled the people of Telangana about the issue of 24 hours electricity.
Slavin urged the AICC and the Congressional High Command to remove Revanth Reddy as TPCC chair and force him to make an unconditional apology to the transgender community, the backward class and other underprivileged groups. He also called on the Telangana State Human Rights Commission, the Telangana BC Commission, the National Human Rights Commission and the National OBC Commission to initiate appropriate criminal proceedings against Ravens Reddy’s “consistent derogatory and insulting language”.
