Hyderabad: In our pursuit of a healthy, active lifestyle, we often try different workouts and fad diets, but these can cause harm. The fitness measures we take must be properly understood and struck in the right balance to ensure not only the correct results, but possible negative consequences.
It is against this backdrop that renowned fitness trainer and co-founder of online fitness platform ‘Trufit’ Vishwa Bharath is advocating a sustainable lifestyle as the best way to lose weight.
He’s been a personal fitness trainer to celebrities like Adivi Sesh, Vennela Kishore, and he’s had quite an interesting journey himself, from an obese IT worker to a passion for fitness.
The 32-year-old is from Visakhapatnam and moved to Hyderabad five years ago. Although he never considered fitness as a career, it was during his engineering career that he became interested in fitness.
“It was originally about building muscle and socializing, but eventually I grew to enjoy exercising and meeting people. However, during my masters degree, I saw a decline in physical activity and the damage that stress eating took on my health,” he said. After joining the workforce in Bangalore, Vishwa is determined to get back fit. Injuring his lower back while lifting weights in the gym was an aha moment for him.
After recovering, he delved into fitness and nutrition and tried various diets to achieve his weight goal in 22 months. Through the process, he discovered the importance of sustainable nutrition and portion control, and learned that exotic foods are not necessary to lose weight and improve health.
His physical transformation has garnered attention on social media, with many seeking his guidance. After earning his certification, he became a part-time fitness instructor. He then quit his IT job to continue working as a full-time online coach.
With a passion, Vishwa co-founded Trufit, an online fitness coaching platform, in 2020 with the goal of providing sustainable fitness solutions. He is currently training Adivi Sesh and several other actors for Goodachari 2, but he did not name them.
