Hyderabad: GHMC’s Enforcement, Vigilance and Disaster Management (EVDM) division issued a heavy rainfall alert on Thursday, asking people to stay indoors and commute only if needed.
The official tweet of the EVDM director mentioned that the heavy rainfall in the city will continue on Thursday.
“Heavy rainfall is expected to continue in Hyderabad today. Please stay indoors and avoid travel as much as possible. Citizens can call 9000113667 for DRF assistance,” said EV&DM Director.

The Disaster Relief Force has also issued an alert on public interest, “Heavy rain in Rangareddy Medchal area of Hyderabad within GHMC range on Thursday. Please avoid non-essential travel and stay indoors,” read a text message forwarded to citizens earlier today.
