England took the wicket off Australia captain Pat Cummins in the first over of the second day.
Vokes ended Australia’s first innings with 300, however, the third umpire called it a no-ball because Vokes went out of bounds.

Ben Stokes made another “Bazball” decision, sending Moeen Ali in the third to bat.
Mohn and Zach Crowley were directing the bat when Cameron Green hit Crowley’s pad, and the umpire called him a heavy out, but a third umpire overturned the decision because the ball missed the leg stump.
The Morne-Crawley duo put in a solid performance, giving the board 50 points. They also had a 50-play partnership before the end of the first quarter.
At lunch, England were 61/1, with Moeen Ali 31* and Zak Crawley 26* batting firmly in the middle.
