Hyderabad: Four days of continuous rain has wreaked havoc across the city, with many places flooded and roads in chaos. Low-lying areas of Hyderabad were flooded, causing inconvenience to residents.
Gajulalamalam witnessed a flood as rain poured into the streets.
Residents struggled with power outages and traffic jams that paralyzed much of the city as rain clouds showed no signs of abating.
The strong winds that accompanied the rains wreaked havoc on the city’s greenery. Many trees were uprooted. Traffic jams were seen across Hyderabad as flooded streets and uprooted trees posed obstacles. Major arterial and arterial roads were blocked, leaving vehicles stranded for hours. Commuters face delays.
Amid the chaos, the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s Disaster Relief Force (DRF) was at the forefront, working tirelessly to restore normalcy. Crews ventured into devastated areas to provide relief to affected communities.
