The road feeder service will benefit several industries in and around Pune and Pune City Industrial Areas

Hyderabad: GMR Air Cargo Hyderabad, a subsidiary of GMR Air Cargo and Aerospace Engineering Ltd, has announced the launch of a new route for road feeder services from Pune to Hyderabad.
The road feeder service will boost trade in the Pune area, which is home to eight major nearby industrial estates. The road feeder service will benefit several industries in and around areas such as Pune and Pune City Industries. The service will initially serve cargo in industries such as automotive, engineering and pharmaceuticals, according to a press release.
GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo has a unique integrated ‘Cargo Village’ with cargo terminals, on-site supervisory facilities and warehousing and cargo trading offices. It is backed by a strong road feeder service covering south-central India. It is also one of the preferred gateways for pharmaceutical logistics in India and abroad.
A highlight of Hyderabad Airport’s cargo facility is the unique ‘Pharmaceutical Zone’, which includes a large multi-ULD Cool Dolly. The new addition makes the facility one of the largest centers in India for handling temperature-sensitive cargo up to -20 degrees Celsius, the release added.
