Hyderabad: One person died and the other was seriously injured when two people fell from Level 2 of the Biodiversity Interchange and landed on Level 1 Sunday night. The injured are said to be in critical condition.
According to the police, the two were riding their bicycles on the second floor of the Biodiversity Overpass when they hit the parapet and fell on the first floor overpass. One of them died at the scene, while the other was taken to a nearby private hospital by police.
The police are investigating the reason behind the accident. Police are verifying the closed-circuit camera images to determine whether the cyclist lost control of the bike and hit a parapet or any other vehicle hit the bike.
