Nalgonda: Fluorosis victims celebrated Municipal and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao’s birthday in Pakagudem, Marrigudem mandal, Nalgonda district, on Monday.
They cut a cake with a portrait of Rama Rao at a hut in Methagiri Ramulu, also a victim of the fluoride threat.
They said that by providing safe drinking water to every household under the Bhajirata mission, their descendants were freed from the menace of fluoride, for which they thanked the minister.
Pakagudem is one of four displaced villages that were relocated due to the fluoride problem.
