Apollo College of Medicine Marks Decade of Founding with AMC-Initiated Community Outreach Program
Hyderabad: The Apollo College of Medicine (AMC) celebrates its tenth anniversary with the launch of a community outreach program that enables the underprivileged to access quality health care.
Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan congratulated the future physicians and said they were lucky to graduate from such a prestigious university as the Apollo School of Medicine.
The Governor released memorabilia to commemorate the historic occasion and officially launched AMC’s work on adopting TB patients, delivering food baskets to beneficiaries. She also presented awards to the winners of various competitions held as part of the largest inter-medical university event.
Ahead of the festivities, the Apollo School of Medicine hosted an inter-university gathering of medicine on its Jubilee Hills campus from October 30 to November 4. The festival has sporting, literary and cultural events.
The event was also attended by Dr. T Ravi Raju, Vice President of Apollo University, and Dr. Sangita Reddy, Co-Managing Director of Apollo Hospital.
