Hyderabad: Telangana University Student Joint Action Committee (JAC) calls for “Chalo Raj Bhavan” to condemn delay in ratification of Telangana Joint Recruitment Committee Bill. They warned that they would besiege Raj Bhavan to send a strong message unless Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan approves the bill passed by the Telangana parliament before Tuesday.
In a recent meeting, the JAC accused the Governor of delaying the approval of the bill at the centre at the request of the BJP government to suit their political agenda and act against the interests of the people of the country. “Despite knowing she had no choice but to approve the bill, the Governor deliberately delayed ratification of the bill. Politics was unnecessarily brought into policy matters,” JAC said.
Unless the governor does not immediately approve the bill, JAC said thousands of students from all national universities will attend “Chalo Raj Bhavan”. They also warned the federal government against abusing the governorship system to control state governments in opposition-ruled states.
