Hyderabad: The National Legal Service will hold National Lok Adalat in the state on November 12 to resolve a wide range of civil and compoundable criminal cases (both pre-litigation and pending litigation).
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the National Legal Service urged people to use the Lok Adalat mechanism to resolve their cases. Those willing to resolve pending or pre-litigation cases may contact District Legal Services Board Chairperson or Secretary Nyaya Seva Sadan to resolve their disputes at the District Court Building, the nearest Mandal Legal Services Commission or the nearest court in their respective districts through National Lok Adalat solved.
It further states that there are no fees for services provided by Lok Adalat and if any fees are paid in pending cases, court fees will be refunded if the matter is resolved by Lok Adalat and no appeal is made against the ruling passed by Lok Adalat.
