A first-year MBBS student shares a video of him and other classmates being ravaged by seniors. The video, which went viral online, depicts juniors being forced to kneel in the mud outside their college dorms with hoses spewing from them.
Lower school students are required to do some physical activity in the mud, even if water is sprayed on them.
A ravaged junior told media staff in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, that they were physically and sexually abused.
A doctor tweeted a post from a first-year MBBS student that went viral, leading management to take action against the senior.
Seven seniors have been suspended by the academy and management has begun further investigations into their activities.
