Police said Rajaya and Rajawa, who have three sons and two daughters, both moved away after their marriage, so they were left alone. The couple fell asleep after locking the door from inside on Wednesday night and did not respond to the milk boy in the morning. Since the couple did not respond, neighbors notified their relatives. Later, relatives and neighbors broke in, found the couple dead, and called the police.
According to a suicide note found at the scene, the couple took extreme measures due to health problems. SI Teegala Ashok said it was unclear whether the couple had taken insecticides or sleeping pills. He said he was awaiting an autopsy report.
