Hyderabad: On the unfortunate incident of a female commuter injured at HITEC City MRT station, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) issued a detailed update on Friday saying the incident was misreported.

It further clarified that the pool of blood mentioned in the report was nothing more than water poured over the wound by other passengers. The female passenger is said to have also provided wheelchair support.

“All MRT stations at HMR are equipped with first aid kits,” it said, adding that officers with public interfaces are regularly trained to assist and assist all victims.
