Five students of RGUKT-Basar were booked on Thursday for molesting juniors on campus.
Neil Marr: Five students of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology (RGUKT)-Basar were arrested on Thursday for molesting their juniors on campus.
Basar Deputy Inspector Mahesh said the five teenage students who were enrolled in the Pre-University Course (PUC) in their second year of university were registered under Section 323 (Injury), 506 (Criminal Intimidation) and Section 4 of the Telangana Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1997.
The students allegedly harassed their PUC-I year students on the varsity team. Dean of Student Welfare Dato lodged a complaint against the students.
