Kurnur: Greeted by protesters, former chief minister and Telugu SAM national chairman N Chandrababu Naidu lost his cool during his visit to the Rayalaseema area on Friday and threatened protesters that he would beat them.
He told YSR Congress workers that he was “the rough of the rough and the thug of the thug” and that he would run after them and make a bet with them if he wanted to. Chandrababu Naidu also sparked protests from JAC leaders, lawyers and students who demanded the establishment of a judicial capital in the town of Kurnool. Holding the slogan of black flag and black balloon, they demanded that he take a stand in the capital of justice.
The police then entered the scene to stop the student JAC members and lawyers and defuse the tense atmosphere.
