The cable bridge work has been completed and the approach road is under development. The bridge will be open to the public when all pending works are completed by the end of the year, he said, adding that work on the riverside project is also progressing rapidly. It will be completed in December 2023.
The location of the Lower Manair Dam, a 24 tmc capacity water body close to the town, is an advantage for Karimnagar. The theme park along the Sabarmati River Front in Gujarat will be developed at LMD, he said.
In the future locals will not go to other places to visit tourist places, but people from other regions will go to Karimnagar. Works are continuing in coordination with irrigation and tourism.
