Neil Marr: Fifty-six students from a private school in Adilabad narrowly escaped on Thursday when their bus came into contact with a live wire in Kallur village, Kuntala mandal. Two students were slightly injured.
The students were on their way to the town of Adilabad when the bus touched a live power line. Two students suffered burns and were taken to a government district hospital in Bhainsa. Their condition is said to be safe. The students had visited the Sri Sai Baba Temple in Kallur and were on their way back when the accident happened.
Quintara police said the bus was taken to the police station and the children’s parents were notified of the accident. Students will be sent to Adilabad in the evening.
