Hyderabad: Do you think you’re being pushed to a higher rate just because the meter reader is recording your usage four or five days late? While many believe that late meter readings force consumers to be pushed to higher slabs, the distribution authority vehemently denies this allegation and claims that whenever meter readings are late, consumers are required to pay the 30 or 31 day average energy used. It is delayed.
