Padmasri Award winner and renowned cardiologist Dr Dasari Prasad Rao along with Police Deputy Commissioner Akhil Mahajan inaugurated the polyclinic for the Hindu Sevak Samaj Foundation in Mancherial on Friday.
Mancherial: Padmasri Award winner and renowned cardiologist Dr Dasari Prasad Rao opened a polyclinic in Mancherial on Friday with Deputy Police Commissioner Akhil Mahajan in charge. The clinic was established by the Hindu Sevak Samaj Foundation (HSSF), a voluntary organization in the town, to provide medical services to the poor at nominal prices.
Prasad Rao hopes that the clinic can provide medical services at a reasonable price, so that patients with financial difficulties can get a respite. He has nothing but praise for members of the Foundation who stepped up to set up clinics. He thanked them for providing diagnostic services by setting up laboratories and operating ambulances at nominal rates.
Bandavaram Jagan, founder of the voluntary organisation, said specialists in cardiology, neurology and nephrology would provide medical care. He said they plan to roll out more services soon. He thanked those who provided cooperation for the foundation’s activities.
Bharatiya Janata Party District Chairman Verabelli Raghunath Rao, Telangana State Nursing Home Association State Chairman Dr. Ramana, Municipal Chairman P Rajaiah, Mancherial Chamber of Commerce Chairman Gunda Sudhakar, Municipal Commissioner Balakrishna, Chakrala Purnachandar Foundation Director, Mannava Vijaya Bhaskar Rao and Sridhar members Chevva Ravi, Rajeshwar Rao and Srinivas were present.
