The defendants were identified as Tadepally Venkateshwar Rao alias Babu Rao (48) and Tadepally Naresh (21) of Masaipet.

McDuck: On Thursday, Tuplan police arrested two men in Medak district on suspicion of rape, after they had previously confessed to committing the crime. The defendants were identified as Tadepally Venkateshwar Rao alias Babu Rao (48) and Tadepally Naresh (21) of Masaipet.
Although the incident happened last Friday, it came to light after the victim and her husband called police for help on Wednesday. Babu Rao was a stonemason and the victim worked with him.
According to Police Commissioner Rohini Priyadarshini, Babu Rao and Naresh went to the victim’s residence on December 9 and they forced their way into her house when she was with her husband and two children. In her statement, the victim said they sprayed some powder on her husband to render him unconscious before taking her to a mango orchard where she was raped.
