Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan never gives up the chance to win hearts and minds with his humble personality. The opening of the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) 2022 was no exception, where King Khan showed off his warm personality.
One of the most popular moments at the KIFF opening was Shah Rukh greeting superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan by touching their feet. SRK also gave Big B a tight hug.
A video showing the special moment went viral. The video, shared on SRK’s fan page Shah Rukh Khan Universe, also shows Rani greeting the veteran cast members on stage. Seeing SRK, Big B, Jaya Bachchan and Rani together, fans became nostalgic as they were reminded of the actor’s iconic film “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…”.

Released in 2001, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” starred SRK as Jaya Bachchand Amitabh Bachchan’s son. Director Karan Johar, along with Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor, completed 21 years on Wednesday. Interestingly, a day later, SRK, Big B and Jaya Bachchan reunited at KIFF. Rani made a cameo appearance in “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, a film commonly known as K3G.
In addition to “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,” SRK and Big B have collaborated on “Mohabbatein,” “Paheli,” “Veer Zara,” “Bhoothnath Returns,” and “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna,” among others. (Arnie)
