MLA condemns allegations made by BJP state president over his involvement in Bengaluru drug case.
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA pilot Rohit Reddy has denounced BJP state president Bandi Sanjay’s allegations of his involvement in the Bengaluru drug case and challenged BJP leaders to appear at the Yadadri temple to take oath.
The BRS MLA visited and prayed at the Bhagyalakshmi Temple in Charminar on Saturday.
“I have nothing to do with the Bengaluru drug case and the Karnataka police have not asked me to appear before them,” he said, adding that a notice had been issued by the Enforcement Directorate asking him to appear at the ED office only for his bio data .
He told the media that Bandi Sanjay challenged other Bhagyalakshmi Temple politicians on all small issues. “Now, I ask him to accept my challenge or to apologize unconditionally to the people of Telangana for his remarks,” he said.
He wondered how the BJP state president knew about the ED notification in advance. This exposed the BJP’s nefarious links with the central investigative agency, he said, adding that BRS leaders would not be in trouble with such notifications.
