Kumram Bheem Asifabad: In Asfabad on Wednesday, government whip Barkasuman distributed artificial limbs to 106 people of various abilities. The limbs were jointly sponsored by the Asifabad Police in partnership with the Chetana Foundation and the Khammam Rotary Club International.
In his speech, Suman praised the social service activities of the district police. Providing prosthetics, sewing machines, blankets and road facilities to the tribe is commendable, he said. Superintendent K Suresh Kumar said police were always at the forefront of community outreach. The limbs were fabricated in Jaipur, Rajasthan after the measurements were collected. He congratulated V Ravi Kumar of the Foundation and Sambashiva Rao, President of the Rotary Club.
