Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said the teachings of Jesus Christ spread the values of peace, compassion, tolerance and love to the world, promoting human brotherhood.
On the occasion of Christmas on Sunday, the Chief Minister sent his greetings to the people of Telangana and the country. He said that on the one hand, the field of science and technology is developing rapidly, on the other hand, humanistic values are disappearing.
Christ’s preaching is relevant in the current age, he said. He added that it is essential to practice the great virtue of forgiving enemies and showing love, compassion and patience towards fellow human beings. “At Christmas, I wish Jesus Christ to bring blessings to all mankind,” Rao said.
