BGS State Public Schools win team overall title in girls’ rhythmic gymnastics category

Hyderabad: BGS National Public School claimed the overall team title in the Women’s Rhythmic Gymnastics (WAG) category at the CBSE National Gymnastics Championships at Gaudium School in Hyderabad on Saturday.
The Bangalore-based school scored 43.90, the top honors. Bhavan Vidyalaya of Panchkula was the runner-up followed by Gayatri Public School of Agra with 37.35 and 23.55 respectively.
Meanwhile, in the Men’s Rhythmic Gymnastics (MAG) category, Khel Gaon Public School from Allahabad was crowned champion with 125.35 points. Shiv Nadar School in Noida and Gayatri Public School in Agra took second and third place respectively.
More than 1,700 athletes from more than 700 schools across the country participated in the competition.
